  I impulsively booked an appointment this morning and had the best experience I’ve ever had at a hair salon. The whole staff was very kind and helpful! Ava, who did my haircut, was so sweet and made me feel really heard with what I wanted. The whole staff was juggling multiple clients at once but I never felt forgotten and was being consistently checked in on. I walked away with a really great haircut and feeling more knowledgeable on how to maintain and style my hair. I’m not one to write reviews but I just had a really great experience and wanted to share.

  When I started college in New York, I was looking for a salon and stylist. A friend of a friend recommended Ava at Salon West so I booked an appointment for a balayage and Ava has been coloring my hair for the past year and a half! I show Ava some pictures of balayages that I like and let her tell me what she thinks will look best on me. She works her coloring and cutting magic and styles my hair with beach waves. I always leave the salon absolutely OBSESSED with my hair! I used to be hesitant to ask to go lighter and more blonde because of past experiences with it not turning out similar to the pictures and damaging my hair but Ava has completely alleviated my fears. I did not realize hair could be both colored beautifully AND healthy until coming to Salon West. The products they use are clearly the best of the best. Ava is so talented at and passionate about what she does and it shows! She is by far the best hairstylist that I have ever had.

  Fabiana did an amazing job on my wedding hair and makeup. I came for a trial prior to the wedding and she was able to replicate the updo and update it! She is thoughtful and cares a lot about her work. Would definitely recommend!

  I love coming here! The staff is incredible and on top of it.

I get a haircut, gloss and blowout for the day. Any questions I have, they always answer.

  I found Salon West after my previous stylist of 5yrs moved. Though I went to a few consultations at various places (to go from dark brown to blonde no less!) Salon West really stood out in terms of professionalism and skill. SoNada did an excellent job with my color in a single session - it looks fantastic without severe damage. Highly recommend her work and this salon!!
